The White Anemone coronaria is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae. Anemone coronaria is a herbaceous perennial plant with a crown of leaves radiating from the stem. The leaves have three leaflets and are deeply lobed. The central mound consists of tightly packed pistils in the centre, with a crown-like ring of stamens surrounding it and are black in color. The flowers bloom from April to June and are native to the Mediterranean, particularly the coastal areas of Italy, north Africa, southern France, Greece, Syria, southern Turkey and Iran.
